Penshurst Tea Estate, Peermede.

Green acre home is set on a clearing atop rolling greens in The Penshurst Tea Estate where the first tea was planted in the peermade region by the pioneer F M Parker way back in 1875. The estate produces one of the finest packet teas from the peermade hills under the Malankara plantation company.

Today with large expanses of tea rolling around this simple and neat home built with commanding views across the whole undulating hills and dales of vagamon and beyond.

On the east fall the Thumbi hills and the western side the rolling meadows of the livestock grazing pastures where you see cattle dotted on the greens. Here just dream away as numerous streams clatter and sing for the song of nature as she lulls you to a world of happiness. The scenic undulating land has good winding roads ideal for biking around into many retreating spots for the outdoor type seeking privacy and has mountains to try rock climbing for the adventurous.
