Kalappura Farmhouse, Trichur

250 years old farmhouse in a compound of five acres full of coconut trees, mango trees, arecanut trees, bananas, pepper and surrounded by paddy fields in a beautiful and remote village 20 minutes drive from Trichur.

 
They have two non air conditioned bath attached rooms at the ground floor and two rooms with one bath room at the first floor.
 
This is an ideal place to experience rural life of Kerala. Ethnic meals of excellent taste are served on banana leaves and earthen pots.
 

They offer traditional Ayurvedic rejuvenation treatments practised in the family for generations. It includes facial, pouring of oil on forehead, oil massage & bath with medicated water. Eye rejuvenation is their speciality.

The house belong to a Journalist Mr. V.K.Soman who was the senior political reporter of Malayala Manorama daily.
